APC: Amori's senatorial ambition a political jamboree

Following the official declaration of Chief Ighoyata Amori yesterday to contest the 2019 Delta Central Senatorial election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to unseat the current APC Senator, the state All Progressives Congress has described Amori's intention as political jamboree and unrealistic. 


The Deputy State Chairman of the Party, Olorogun Cyril Ogodo told journalists while reacting to some of the issues raised by Chief Amori that his political mandate given by the entire Urhobo nations to represent them was stolen from him in 2015 through a Court of Appeal sitting in Benin City. 
It would be recalled that Chief Amori in course of his political consultations with his party chieftains in Delta Central has vowed to reclaim his victory through the 2019 senatorial election in oder to attract the more needed democracy to Urhobo land.

Rights Lawyer and former member of the All Progressive Congress APC, Robinson Ariyo says level of disorganization within the APC from the Delta State chapter to the National level is alarming. In an Interview in Warri ,Ariyo  said the party has not just disappointed Nigerians who voted it into power in 2015 but has also dragged the nation backwards. SSS DG REPLACEMENT: IYC SAYS IT IS SECTIONALISM TAKEN TOO FAR

The attention of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide have been drawn to multiple newspaper reports to the effect that the Presidency is shopping for the replacement of the new Director General of the State Security Services, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa as a result of some reforms embarked upon by the new SSS DG who was appointed less than one month ago.  It was also reported that the Presidency through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari has ordered Mr. Seiyefa in a letter dated August 30, 2018 to reverse some of the postings that were done and not to taken any further action towards repositioning the security agency without the approval of the Presidency.
