Ijaw and Itsekri unite for Peace and Unity cup final

After two weeks of inter community football, the stage is now set for the Final of the comrade Sheriff Mulade peace and Unity Cup 2017.
The  competition which was hosted by Kokodigbene community featured teams from itsekiri, Ijaw and Ilaje riverine communities.
In the semi finals today the host community was eliminated 4-1 on penalty by Krutie while Tejubor defeated Oporoza 3-1 also on penalties.
Saturday November 25th final will see krutie and tejubor teams do battle.
The final will be graced by Delta state Deputy Governor Barr Kingsly Ex international Austin Eguavon amongst others.

Rights Lawyer and former member of the All Progressive Congress APC, Robinson Ariyo says level of disorganization within the APC from the Delta State chapter to the National level is alarming. In an Interview in Warri ,Ariyo  said the party has not just disappointed Nigerians who voted it into power in 2015 but has also dragged the nation backwards. SSS DG REPLACEMENT: IYC SAYS IT IS SECTIONALISM TAKEN TOO FAR

The attention of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide have been drawn to multiple newspaper reports to the effect that the Presidency is shopping for the replacement of the new Director General of the State Security Services, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa as a result of some reforms embarked upon by the new SSS DG who was appointed less than one month ago.  It was also reported that the Presidency through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari has ordered Mr. Seiyefa in a letter dated August 30, 2018 to reverse some of the postings that were done and not to taken any further action towards repositioning the security agency without the approval of the Presidency. Lt. Gen.
