DELTA LGA POLLS: NO ELECTION IN OPOROZA WARD 15 - YABRADE

Image result for YABRADE MOSESViolence on Saturday prevented voting in Oporoza ward 15 in Warri South West L.G.A during the Delta state Local government elections.

Moses Yabrade an All Progressives Congress APC executive official in the ward told TheLivePen that trouble started when officials of the Delta state Independent Electoral Commission DISIEC allegedly refused to display the plain result sheet, after meeting with Peoples Democratic Party PDP top brass in the area.
According to him the refusal to display the result sheet led to clashes between APC and PDP supporters resulting in destruction of some sensitive voting materials while PDP members allegedly absconded with other materials.
Mr. Yabrade maintained that no Election took in the Ward as a result of the violence.

Rights Lawyer and former member of the All Progressive Congress APC, Robinson Ariyo says level of disorganization within the APC from the Delta State chapter to the National level is alarming. In an Interview in Warri ,Ariyo  said the party has not just disappointed Nigerians who voted it into power in 2015 but has also dragged the nation backwards. According to him in-house squabbles, back stabbing and mediocrity within the APC  especially in Delta state is frightening. SSS DG REPLACEMENT: IYC SAYS IT IS SECTIONALISM TAKEN TOO FAR

The attention of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide have been drawn to multiple newspaper reports to the effect that the Presidency is shopping for the replacement of the new Director General of the State Security Services, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa as a result of some reforms embarked upon by the new SSS DG who was appointed less than one month ago.  It was also reported that the Presidency through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari has ordered Mr. Seiyefa in a letter dated August 30, 2018 to reverse some of the postings that were done and not to taken any further action towards repositioning the security agency without the approval of the Presidency.
