Delta Gov Okowa sack Health commissioner

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has reshuffled his cabinet as he sacked two Commissioners,  the commissioner for Health, Dr Nicholas Azinge as well as his Art and Culture counterpart, Mr. Daniel Okenyi.

In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government Hon. Festus Ovie Agas said  the minor re-shufflement of the membership of the State Executive Council takes effect from today 8th February, 2018. 

In this regard, Dr. Nicholas Azinge and Chief Dan Okenyi are no longer members of the Executive Council. 

The statement furthermore added that some of the members of the Council have been redeployed as 
follows: 
1. Hon Asupa Forteta - Ministry of Urban Renewal
2. Chief Karo Ilolo - Directorate of Youth Development
3. Hon. Bright Edejewhro - Ministry of Science and Technology
4. Hon. Joyce Overah - Directorate of Local Government Affairs.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa wishes to express gratitude to the two Commissioners that have left the cabinet for their loyalty, commitment and sense of duty which marked their stewardship. 

The letter added that in line with public service standards, they are to kindly handover all government properties in their possession to the Permanent Secretaries of their former Ministries as we wish them success in all their future endeavours.
