AKPOJOTOR:: APC,LP OTHERS MUST KEY INTO SMART AGENDA, AS THERE IS NO VACANCY IN ASABA

Opposition parties in Delta have urged to key into the smart agenda of the Okowa led Administration as there is no vacancy at the state government House in Asaba come 2019.

While applauding the developmental strides of the current administration, a People's Democratic Party PDP chieftain in the state Sir Igho Akpojotor, asserted that it will be unwise for the opposition to think of disrupting the current peace and development efforts in the state just for the sake of playing politics.
Akpojotor maintained that Deltans irrespective of political affiliation must put the state first in all they do.
The PDP chieftain equally called on Deltans to go register and collect their Permanent Voters Cards PVC as that is the only way they can decided the fate of any of any political administration from the federal to local government level.
While lamenting the poor attitude of Nigerians towards political process, he called for strong enlightenment campaign that will further help Nigerians better understand their rights.

Rights Lawyer and former member of the All Progressive Congress APC, Robinson Ariyo says level of disorganization within the APC from the Delta State chapter to the National level is alarming. In an Interview in Warri ,Ariyo  said the party has not just disappointed Nigerians who voted it into power in 2015 but has also dragged the nation backwards. SSS DG REPLACEMENT: IYC SAYS IT IS SECTIONALISM TAKEN TOO FAR

The attention of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide have been drawn to multiple newspaper reports to the effect that the Presidency is shopping for the replacement of the new Director General of the State Security Services, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa as a result of some reforms embarked upon by the new SSS DG who was appointed less than one month ago.  It was also reported that the Presidency through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari has ordered Mr. Seiyefa in a letter dated August 30, 2018 to reverse some of the postings that were done and not to taken any further action towards repositioning the security agency without the approval of the Presidency.
