SANITATION: Akpojotor hails Delta Central LGA Chairmen, Blast residents of Ugborikoko,Kolokolo others

The Delta state Waste Management Board DWMB, in Delta central, led by Sir Igho Akpojotor has reiterated determination to work with the Uvwie local government Area authorities and other LGAs to ensure clean and healthy Delta Central.

Speaking in Udu, Akpojotor commended  LGA  chairmen in Delta Central for their efforts so far and urged them to help build sanitation consciousness into the people.
He meanwhile warned residents of Ugborikoko,kolokolo,Atamakolomi,Ukwokoko and some part of Osubi who are creating illegal dumpsites that the task force of the Waste management board will storm their area any moment and culprits will be dealt with accordance with the law.
Akpojotor equally frowned at the disposal of dirt into the river behind Effrrun Market  as well other coastal communities and promised to take steps that ensure presence of PSP waste collectors in such communities.

SSS DG REPLACEMENT: IYC SAYS IT IS SECTIONALISM TAKEN TOO FAR

The attention of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide have been drawn to multiple newspaper reports to the effect that the Presidency is shopping for the replacement of the new Director General of the State Security Services, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa as a result of some reforms embarked upon by the new SSS DG who was appointed less than one month ago.  It was also reported that the Presidency through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari has ordered Mr. Seiyefa in a letter dated August 30, 2018 to reverse some of the postings that were done and not to taken any further action towards repositioning the security agency without the approval of the Presidency.
