💯 Days in Office: Warri South Chairman gives account, Warns revenue defaulters(News+Video)
Chairman of Warri south Local Government Area LGA, Michael Tidi has called on community and political leaders in the area to support the council’s revenue drive by paying their local tax and tenement rates.

Speaking on Wednesday during a media parley at the council secreateriat to mark his one hundred days in office, Tidi said his administration is set to intensify the revenue drive warning individuals illegally collecting revenues and printing receipts that they will be used as scape goats.
While listing out some developmental efforts of his administration in the area of environment, capacity building, infrastructure and socio economics, the council boss revealed the LGA has developed a technology driving method of revenue generation.
Tidi equally added that the upcoming Warri Economic Summit will amongst other things examine reasons for stagnation in the development of the Warri metropolis and seek for workable solutions which Will drive development to the area, restor night life and boost economic base.
On Igbudu Market
He revealed that the council is currently installing solar lamps that will enable traders run their business at night noting that it will further increase the profile of the market which will in turn positively rub off on the economy of the LGA.
On Environment
Hon Tidi that as part of efforts to clean up the environment the administration has purchased two trucks that will help in the evacuation of dirts from the metropolis.
While approval has been given to certain groups who have volunteered to decorate major roundabouts in Warri.
