Delta Ijaw HOSTCOM youth wing elects new leadership

As part of efforts to consolidate on current Peace in the riverine areas of the state,a new executive of the Delta Ijaw Oil and Gas Host communities HOSTCOM youth wing has been elected.

The new executives led by Prince Okrikpa has Samuel Uyandogha as vice president and Misoro Alexander as secretary.

Other members of the body include:

Kodokodo Ebi- assistant secretary

Oliver Mala- PRO

Smart Itiemo -Treasurer

Obede Tomone -financial secretary

Duke Angodideke - Organizing secretary

Edonyabo Komboye - Auditor

Gbalebi Blessing - Provost.

In a release signed by the president Prince Okrikpa, the body expressed readiness to work with critical stakeholders to sustain the existing Peace and to ensure that youths of the various communities get their deserved  benefits.

Rights Lawyer and former member of the All Progressive Congress APC, Robinson Ariyo says level of disorganization within the APC from the Delta State chapter to the National level is alarming. In an Interview in Warri ,Ariyo  said the party has not just disappointed Nigerians who voted it into power in 2015 but has also dragged the nation backwards. SSS DG REPLACEMENT: IYC SAYS IT IS SECTIONALISM TAKEN TOO FAR

The attention of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide have been drawn to multiple newspaper reports to the effect that the Presidency is shopping for the replacement of the new Director General of the State Security Services, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa as a result of some reforms embarked upon by the new SSS DG who was appointed less than one month ago.  It was also reported that the Presidency through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari has ordered Mr. Seiyefa in a letter dated August 30, 2018 to reverse some of the postings that were done and not to taken any further action towards repositioning the security agency without the approval of the Presidency. Lt. Gen.
