WITNESS:How Nigeria Police almost KILLED Senator Dino Melaye

A man who followed the ambulance that conveyed senator Dino Negate t to the hospital said he witnessed the “drama” leading to the injury.

Addressing journalists at the hospital, the man simply identified as Peter said: “I was there at Area 1 when the police vehicle stopped somewhere and amid the confusion, there were shouts of ‘shoot him, shoot him’.
“He has been saying it that they want to take his life and we can see that now. Yesterday, about 200 policemen were in house.
 They were there till this morning. When he came out, he told them ‘okay, I’m going to go with you people to the police station.’ That he is not a criminal and that they don’t even have any arrest warrant on him. But he followed them.
“It was later this afternoon, while he was being taken to court, around that Area 1, the crowd had gathered and the police officers were there with him. I don’t know if he was pushed out of the vehicle or not but amid the confusion, they later moved him from there.”
Melaye has been having a running battle with the police lately

Rights Lawyer and former member of the All Progressive Congress APC, Robinson Ariyo says level of disorganization within the APC from the Delta State chapter to the National level is alarming. In an Interview in Warri ,Ariyo  said the party has not just disappointed Nigerians who voted it into power in 2015 but has also dragged the nation backwards. SSS DG REPLACEMENT: IYC SAYS IT IS SECTIONALISM TAKEN TOO FAR

The attention of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide have been drawn to multiple newspaper reports to the effect that the Presidency is shopping for the replacement of the new Director General of the State Security Services, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa as a result of some reforms embarked upon by the new SSS DG who was appointed less than one month ago.  It was also reported that the Presidency through the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari has ordered Mr. Seiyefa in a letter dated August 30, 2018 to reverse some of the postings that were done and not to taken any further action towards repositioning the security agency without the approval of the Presidency.
